Itchy-O descends on Pearl Street for Boulder Roots Music Fest on Thursday, August 27, opening the festival weekend in downtown Boulder beneath the auspices of its Full Sturgeon Moon Eclipse Rite.

Fifty-plus strong. A synergistic spell, otherworldly and immersive, that breaks down the barrier between audience and performer.

We are aligning the rite with the eclipse itself. The ceremony begins around 9:30 PM MDT, gathering force as the shadow rises, and reaches its peak at approximately 10:12 PM MDT, the moment of maximum eclipse over Boulder.

The festival features more than 160 artists throughout the weekend, including several acts the itchy-O community may want to dig into: The Mike Dillon Band with Kris Myers, Beledi Dance Caravan, Katie Wise & Bhakti Explosion, Pink Lady Monster, and Pink Fuzz.
