Denver’s itchy-O consists of 23 professional musicians across an array of percussion, electronic and traditional world/rock/stringed instruments. This includes a driving drum-corps battery, taiko drummers, a custom made gamelan and an arsenal of sonic tools, from theremin to synthesizers, vocoders, and custom-built waveform equipment.

The collective is known for their pyrotechnic and interactive audience-engaging theatrical productions, but at its foundation is a commitment to constructing atmospheric soundscapes and dynamic musical compositions that engulf and provoke audiences, regardless of venue or medium.

The resulting “interdimensional orchestra” is now available for bespoke compositions.

Itchy-O works with Colorado-based Dolby Atmos equipped Evergroove Studio as well as Mighty Fine Productions’ studio to track all percussion and mix/master, respectively, and provide a full-suite of production services available in a business-friendly environment.

Itchy-O also works non-exclusively with the music licensing agency Colorwheel Music and owns the rights to all of our published material with two of three records non-exclusively licensed on the historic label, Alternative Tentacles.

All tracks on itchy-O’s third studio album, Mystic Spy | Psykho Dojo, are owned exclusively by itchy-O LLC.

Stems for all albums (with exclusion to Burn the Navigator) are available for editing and remixing.

INTERDIMENSIONAL ORCHESTRA

With a driving drum-corps battery, taiko drummers and an arsenal of electronics, the 57-member art collective’s live performances invite audience members to join into an experience of radical, transcendental musical celebration through dance. Lauded as one of today’s most unique musical performance groups, itchy-O awakens the senses, tests assumptions, and creates an opening for new experiences where identity and boundaries surrender and disband.

BESPOKE COMPOSITIONS

Itchy-O was selected to act as a centerpiece at MONA’s world renowned Dark MOFO fest in Tasmania in 2016, has played with David Byrne, and are the darlings of Austin’s prestigious film festival, Fantastic Fest, performing there three years in a row. They have opened for DEVO, Beats Antique, Melvins and have performed at The Biennial of the Americas, Tucson’s All Souls Procession Festival, Scoutmob’s Halloween bash in Atlanta, Austin’s Art Outside, Adobe’s Effective UI, along with regular coast-to-coast touring across the United States. Annual Hallowmass, Sci-Fi Masquerade, and New Year’s Eve bashes have become historic sold-out Colorado traditions.
