A new year’s rite
Give 2027 more than a ten-second countdown.
The turn of the year deserves our attention. A moment to gather, interrupt the familiar, and put some intention behind what comes next. Times like these call for better rituals.
On January 2, join your bombastic masters of ceremonial khaos for SATURNALIA at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom. A driving drum battery, taiko, electronics, and masked movement turn the beginning of the year into a Concert Ceremony of reversal, renewal, and collective release.
Rhythm moves through the room. Strangers find a shared pulse. The distance between performer and participant begins to dissolve. Bring your people, bring your strange, and give the new year the entrance it deserves.
